Hello there!
I’m Sooa Choo, a UX designer who enjoys transforming complex systems and problems into clear, logical structures. Born and raised in Korea, I grew up immersed in games, films, comics, animation and Korean fantasy novels.
The first trailers of World of Warcraft and Hellgate: London inspired me to pursue a career in the game industry.
I studied Visual Communication Design at Hongik university, where I embraced the philosophy that Form follows function. Over the past 9 years—6 in the Korean game industry and 3 in Montreal—I have built hands-on experience across UI art, UX design, and user research grounded in HCI. Alongside my design work, I have also illustrated covers for web novels.
I believe that by applying diverse UX methodologies, we can distill the complexity of games into more intuitive and immersive experiences for players.
